So came up to the yard on Saturday and noticed Hayley wasn't eating properly, decided to give it a couple of days thinking she may have suffered a knock of some sorts (seen as she has been going back out in the field now!) after no improvement I decided to get the Vet out.
Deciding it was most likely a tooth issue the vet proceeded to put the gag on and have a look at her teeth, what she found was a tooth that had fractured and a piece of this had become embedded in her tongue! No wonder we weren't eating the piece that was stuck in her tongue was the size of a 50p! (see pic)
Thankfully her tongue will heal and so will the ulcer that had formed due to it rubbing and hopefully this will resolve itself in due course.
